Donatella Knecht de Massy – President
Donatella was born in Johannesburg South Africa on the 10th of May 1972 and grew up mostly in Switzerland while attending Institut Le Rosey. Of italian citizenship, she is a permanent resident in the Principality of Monaco where she lives with her husband and four daughters.
After finishing Northeastern University in Boston where she studied journalism, she returned to Switzerland to pursue a career in media. She worked for the Geneva Post and later for Focus One, a Formula 1 magazine based out of Monaco.
She currently works for Transport and Commodities with her husband.
She has been a part of:
MOM; Mothers of Monaco who provided funding for children from under-developed countries to be able to come to the Principality for heart surgeries, as well as supplying an orphanage in Tunisia with much-needed supplies.
Ladies Lunch Monaco; who raise funds to support other charitable institutions in the Principality.
Gildo Pallanca Pastor – Vice President
A “Serial Entrepreneur”, Gildo Pallanca Pastor embarked upon his career at the age of 19 by taking over the management of the construction of the Gildo Pastor Center (S.A.M. Pastor), a building composed of office and industrial premises totalling 90,000 m². Since 1986, in addition to his real-estate activities, he has diversified his investments by participating in the development of innovative companies.
Gildo Pallanca Pastor was born in Monaco on April 1st 1967. Of Monégasque nationality, he is a permanent resident of the Principality where he lives with his wife and two sons. After obtaining a Baccalauréat C (mathematics and physics), he pursued, at the same time as his professional activities (first enterprise at the age of 19), a university degree in law at the faculty of Aix Marseille, then Nice, as well as a university course in economics in Italy.
Damien, founder and CEO of the International Anti Poaching Foundation (IAPF), served as a Clearance Diver in the Royal Australian Navy before transferring to a Special Operations unit within the Australian Army. Following the completion of military service he was employed by a Private Military Organisation tasked with retraining the future police of Iraq. Damien eventually moved to the position of Project Manager, overseeing daily operations of the Iraq Special Police Training Academy in Baghdad. He returned home to Australia from Iraq in 2008 after three years service.
Arriving in Africa at the beginning of 2009, the intention was to apply his background skills to wildlife protection and conservation. After traveling the southern half of the continent he came to rest in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe. It was in Zimbabwe that he received a first-hand look at the decimation poaching was having on the wildlife population. Incensed by the lack of resources made available to combat the problem he founded the ‘International Anti Poaching Foundation’ (IAPF), designed to counteract the bloodshed through assertive action and specialist training. He has since been working very closely with other conservation based organizations with similar objectives.
Sébastien Knecht de Massy
Sébastien was born in Philadelphia, USA on the 24th of August 1972 and is a citizen of the Principality of Monaco, where he lives with his wife and four daughters.
After obtaining his BA in business , Sébastien moved to Lima Peru to work for Grana y Montero Petrolera. After living in Peru he moved back to Monaco and started his shipping career with the V. Ships Group. This brought him to live in London, Singapore and Paris. In 2005 Sébastien founded Madison Marine and today controls a fleet of merchant vessels.
In 2008 he co-founded Transport & Commodities which is based in Monaco and manages shipping, upstream and mining ventures.
Thanks to this and a life of continuous travel he has come to love and recognize the need to protect and conserve what beauties our planet has left.
Francisco is a serial entrepreneur, social media specialist, gaming lover, mind sports executive and sportsman, marketer, lecturer, blogger, monomaniac, writer, avid reader…
With a degree in Business Administration from the European Business School specialized in finance, a multinational education in Spain, Ireland, France, US, UK and Switzerland and advanced musical studies in Paris at the Scuola Cantorum and L’Ecole Normal de Musique , Francisco has an M&A Investment banking track record, having worked in the past for Rothschild and Credit Suisse First Boston.
Francisco founded his first internet company in the late nineties and run it as Executive Chairman, effectively deploying in 11 Spanish speaking countries in 6 months. Formerly part of the leadership of Telefonica-Media’s Digital division and head of Business Development for their musical rights management company, he has helped found, fund or advise numerous digital and rights management related start-ups mainly in Europe.
Today he serves as Chief Digital Officer and Director of the Board of Mind Sports Partners, a joint venture between the acclaimed “father of sports marketing” Patrick Nally and the Japanese advertising giant Dentsu. MSP, through IFP and its partners and agreements is present in 50 countries worldwide.
He additionally advises and serves as director of several companies related to the digital world and rights management, specifically in the sports and entertainment fields.
Alexandre Albertini served as Managing Director of Scorpio Tankers Inc. since 2008 and also served as its Secretary. Mr. Albertini has been with Marfin Management SAM, since 1997, working in fields related to crew and human resources, insurance, legal, financial, technical, commercial, and information technology. He serves as President of Ant. Topic srl. Mr. Albertini has more than 10 years of experience in the shipping industry. He serves as a Director of Scorpio Tankers Inc. He serves as a Director of eight dry bulk ship owning companies and holds various board positions in several other local business and associations. He is a Founding Member of the Chamber of Shipping of Monaco and has been its Secretary General since 2006.
Robyn is a born and raised South African who is now living in the Principality of Monaco with her husband and two children.
She has been a model since a young age and has always been active in African charitable activities of all sorts.
